Why become a Trauma Informed leader?

This training is an integrative framework for understanding how trauma and chronic stress impact the body and mind.
We focus on brain science, trauma theory, yoga, mindfulness, somatic practices, and meditation - and how this wisdom can support us in cultivating more inner resilience and peace.
Our Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training has sold out early every year. As the Yoga and wellness community grows, there is an increasing urgency to better equip ourselves as facilitators.
This training teach us how to hold informed, brave, compassionate space for those individuals or groups who have been impacted by trauma.

Who is this for?

Yogic leaders

If you are already a leader / teacher and have people come to you who need this kind of support.

Holistic health professionals

If you are passionate about helping others - especially those coming from difficult backgrounds.

Seekers looking for more Self-Wisdom

You are interested in trauma theory, how it has impacted you personally, and you are looking for education/tools to integrate this into your own spiritual practice.

SOULWORK™ VALUES

Who do we serve?

SoulWork™ is an educational platform rooted in uplifting and empowering leaders who are passionate about social justice and empowering oppressed voices.

In order to preserve the depth, sanctity, and safety of our SoulWork™ programs, it is important that all of our community members share the same core values:

Value #1

You are curious about the relationship between Social Justice and the power of the Yoga practice to uplift and empower our communities.

Value #2

You are curious about being connected to our Himalayan lineage, and you are curious about and intend to make efforts to avoid cultural appropriation and explore the practice in its cultural, emotional, psychological, energetic, and physical depths.

Value #3

You recognize (and are curious to learn more about) the harm caused by injustice, and you are committed to prioritizing creating a safe space for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ members of our community.

Professional Development Focus

Note that this is a PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INTENSIVE and NOT a personal therapy intensive or detoxification program

While we are committed to introducing elements of deep Soul-Work, this program should not be taken as a personal therapeutic intensive.

Our faculty members are not trained psychiatrists and do not carry clinical backgrounds in PTSD, addiction or other mental health concerns. If you have a history of PTSD or drug use, it is important that you arrive to our program in a stable state with the intention of using the practices of yoga for self regulation and personal spiritual growth.

This is a professional development intensive designed to teach you the practices of yoga to confidently support yourself and your students through life's challenges. You will spend a lot of time immersed in meditation and with the practices of yoga. You will be invited to lean on these tools to support you through emotional + mental turbulence that inevitably surfaces as we slow down with the deep intention to uncover and heal our inner life. It will likely be challenging at times, and we have held thousands of students through this deep internal process.

If you are seeking more personalized therapeutic support, we do recommend that you search elsewhere for your training program.

Our students and their journey with us:

This is our SoulWork™

Our human condition can be very challenging. As caregivers especially - finding our voice, our power, our courage - can be a confusing dance between heartbreak and healing.

The more we get into this work, the more we see the “stories” repeat themselves. We all have similar pains, struggles, fears, doubts, so we do the work of the soul to share our internal dialogue and come together in a sacred brotherhood to share the truth enshrined in our hearts.

This, is what we strive to offer. An opportunity for seekers to come together and be heard, seen and felt, and then have the courage to break the chains of old and limiting ideas or ways of being. Awakening to a new confidence, a new power, a new clarity in our role in healing our families and our world.

Community. Accountability. Sisterhood.

By joining the SoulWork™ family, you also get access to:

  • SoulWork™ Monthly Intimacy Circle: An opportunity to all current and former students, to cultivate much needed connection with one another, share and explore the beautiful mixture of Eastern, Western and Oriental teachings into our own self healing and union with one another. Once a month Zoom session.
  • SoulWork™ Visionary Q+A Sessions: Monthly SoulWork™ Visionary Q+A Sessions with Adi Shakti to answer your business questions. FREE access to once a month sessions on the first Monday of every month.
  • Access to the SoulWork™ Facebook Group: Connect to all SoulWorkers + Conscious Leaders worldwide, create networking and connection opportunities.
