What if I can't attend the live sessions?
The sessions will also be recorded and available for you to reference after the session via Teachable. If you must miss a session due to an emergency or unexpected conflict, you must write us for approval. If you miss a session, you must watch it before our following live session to keep up with the pace of the program. Unapproved absences will result in a Certificate of Participation in lieu of the Yoga Alliance Accredited Certification.

Do I need to be a Yoga Teacher already to attend?
No, you do not need to have any previous yoga education or experience. In this Children’s Yoga course, there is an introduction to the foundation of the practice, teaching yoga to children, as well as the body and its anatomy. The course builds upon this foundation to deepen the experiential learning. Everyone is welcome to deepen their path whether teaching in a classroom or at home.
What is the general schedule?
One session every Sunday from 10am - 2:00pm EST, and 7 intensive Saturday sessions.
How much experience in yoga should I have before doing the course?
No experience or prior knowledge of yoga or child development is required; however we recommend that you have a strong interest in guiding or supporting the growth and development of children. Our tradition is unique and we will focus on providing quality education and building a powerful foundation that incorporates asana, pranayama, mantra, meditation, sequencing techniques, child development and more.
What do I need to participate in the training?
You need access to a reliable internet connection and the ability to work with the ZOOM Meeting platform. You will need an open mind, a notebook and pen. It will be helpful to print the 95 hour Children’s Yoga Teacher Training Manual that will be provided to you.
Do you offer work exchange opportunities?
We don’t currently accept work exchange for our specialty certification programs.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. However, they are transferable, so if for whatever reason you place your deposit and can’t join us, you can give your spot to someone else. All deposits are valid through the next calendar year, so you may apply your payment to a future program that fits a change in your schedule.
